Created, written and produced by Natalie Farrell, The Wounded Children is her biggest and most ambitious production to date — an expansive electronic soundscape exploring inherited patterns, childhood wounds, dissociation and the journey from hiding to being heard.
Born from Natalie’s own spiritual journey, the piece asks a powerful question:
What if the patterns we carry did not begin with us?
We come from the seed that came from the seed that came from the seed.
Through music and voice, The Wounded Children explores the survival strategies we inherit and develop — the ways we learn to numb, perform, perfect, disappear and protect ourselves.
Blending electronic music with piano, synthesisers, birdsong, whale song and Cosmic Songbird’s distinctive vocal worlds and Light Language, this is a piece designed to be felt as much as heard.
It is an invitation to revisit the past — not to relive it, but to understand what shaped us.
To bring awareness to the patterns that have remained unseen.
And to stop abandoning the parts of ourselves that learned to hide.
